Welcome! I'm a Product Engineer at Texas Instruments specializing in automated test equipment (ATE) development and test hardware design. I hold a B.S. in Electronic Systems and Engineering Technology from Texas A&M University and am currently pursuing graduate studies in the same field.
I was born in Illinois and raised in Texas. I'm a tinkerer and experimenter who enjoys understanding how things work and learning new skills. I'm passionate about hardware design, embedded systems, and networking infrastructure.
I am an avid amateur radio operator, WG1GEM (Gig 'Em, Ags!). You'll usually find me monitoring the W5AC 146.82 MHz repeater when I'm in College Station. I have the privilege of maintaining (and sometimes babysitting) the W5AC repeaters which I greatly enjoy.
While I spend about 90% of my time on VHF/UHF analog FM, I do dabble with DMR. When I get the itch to work HF, I'll fire up the Flex and see what contacts I can get myself.
When I'm not tinkering with radio, I'm probably tinkering with something related to networking, security, homebrewing or voice over IP technology. I am an aspiring amateur chef, and I'm currently pursuing my networking and security certifications.
